Facet Library showing an everyday collection of travel, pets and food photos

How it works

Open Facet

It looks at your photos on your phone. Nothing is uploaded and there's no account.

Private photos go to Filtered

ID documents, bank screenshots, medical letters, chats and private photos open only with your fingerprint, face or screen lock.

Unsure photos go to Review

Photos Facet isn't sure about wait in Review. Tap "Why this photo?" to see the reason. Your decision always wins.

What Facet doesn't do

Facet is a separate gallery. It doesn't change what Google Photos, your Photos app or any other app shows, and it never moves, edits or deletes a photo. Open Facet when you show someone your phone.

Facet sorts the obvious photos automatically and asks you about the rest. It sometimes gets one wrong, so check Review now and then.

Questions

Does Facet upload my photos?

No. The Android app has no internet permission, so it can't. You can check this on the Google Play listing.

Will it move or delete anything?

No. Uninstall Facet and everything is exactly as it was.
